Who Is Inclusive Design Group?
Inclusive Design Group (IDG) is a consulting practice dedicated to increasing economic mobility, health equity, and agency in decision-making for marginalized communities and those farthest from opportunity.
Founder & Principal Consultant, Kelly Mitchell
Founded by Kelly Mitchell, a Black mother and former educator, IDG strives to close equity gaps across sectors by both supporting and building bridges between community-based organizations, institutions and system leaders.
At Inclusive Design Group, we believe that all communities, regardless of income, geography and race, should have the power, agency, and resources to create and implement their own solutions to the unique challenges facing them. Inclusive Design Group is committed to becoming a true partner in this process and path.
“Kelly has been a reliable, go-to partner for Colorado Succeeds over the last several years. From research and analysis to stakeholder engagement and facilitation, to publication and resource development – she can do it all. Kelly is communicative, keeps equity at the forefront of her work, and ensures goals are met on time and on budget. A joy to work with!”
